The Off Switch
Oscar only has two settings: on and off. On means he's running around, chewing things, playing, and generally just being an energetic miniature schnauzer puppy. When he's awake, he's quite a handful. Then he falls asleep, and he's dead to the world. There's really no calm middle ground. That means I really enjoy it when he's switched off. It gives me a welcome break...not to mention he's adorable when he naps!

Just hopped by, and I think your Oscar is totally adorable! (Although the mom in me cringes to see a power cord so close to his cozy basket.)
What a cute sleepy puupy you are? Do you ever sleep on your back, that's our favourite way of chilling, the humans always taking photo's of us when we're napping too! Dex & Lou x
I know, I thought the same thing about the power cord. Usually his pet bed is further away, but he dragged it over and then fell asleep so I didn't want to wake him just to move the bed. Power cords are actually one of the few things he doesn't try to chew, luckily.
And yes, Oscar sleeps on his back quite a lot. He looks so funny doing it and it always makes me laugh. I heard it's because they get warm when they sleep and so they turn on their backs to cool off because they have less hair on their tummies.
