Yeah, they're yucky. On the other hand, it gives you a great training opportunity. If you can slip Oscar a piece of cheese while you're working on the burrs (y'know with those extra hands you aren't using), you might find him being calmer for all kinds of grooming & handling.
I seem to always find blogs and get interested when they don't get updated anymore! Hope you start updating again soon. I love reading stories about mini schnauzers that act like my puppy, Remy. I hope to start a blog soon, but I don't seem to have time ever!

Oh Oscar! Poor you!! They look really nasty!! Am I glad I have a short coat that never catches anything - even mud just dries & falls off me! :-)

I really dislike those hateful little things! Mom calls them stick-tights and makes me be still for a long time while she gets them out.
Arrgg! We get those in our wirey fur all the time...terriers are like velcro, everything sticks!
